Survey Point Power pylon Lake Morris Rd Cairns Qld
Latitude -16.9733300 (16° 58′ 24″ S)
Longitude 145.7058300 (145° 42′ 21″ E)

A short steep track leads from the main road to the base of the pylon, most of the birding is done along the road which can get quite busy. This is a difficult spot to find, it’s at the highest point in the road but the small track can be hard to spot. The view from the base of the pylon back to Cairns is specky.
