On the Flinders Hwy about 4km north of the Mount Drummond locality, Grubbed road heads east, the site is about 3km along it at the edge of the woodland. There is a 40m wide area beside the road that has been cleared at some stage before getting into the older growth, there is also a thin strip of remnant vegetation along the road. 3/4 of the area though is cleared farmland.
