About 7km NE of Coleabally on the Kidman Way, Cattanach Rd heads east, the site is on the quiet dirt road by an irrigation channel, this site has good birding. The woodland to the east of the channel can be accessed by foot over a small weir. The woodland on the western side of the road is private land.
