It’s possible to get quite close to the most easterly point on the Australian mainland, but you’ll have to pay to park. The alternative is a walking path that follows the coastline from Lawson St. It may take 1 1/2hrs to do the loop, taking in the lighthouse too. There are patches of remnant habitat along the way.
