On the Great Central Rd and as part of the Sanford River, it would take a significant rain event to put water in the lake which is usually dry. The lake bed is shrub covered with good woodland in the low sand hills surrounding this site at the north end of the lake which is about 250km SW of Warburton.

camp rating 6, there are a few tracks that lead from the main road over the sand dune to be by the lake, there are no good camping spots nd no facilities.
