On the Geelong-Ballan Rd  just south of Slate Quarry Rd, both dams are named Upper Stoney Creek Reservoir and always have water in them, both dams are fenced off, but if you get a bit of height you can look over the dam wall of the one to the south and see along the shoreline. The roadside has good woodland beside it.

No camping is advised here.
