Survey Point Cooks Hut Camp Iron Range NP Qld
Latitude -12.7100000 (12° 42′ 36″ S)
Longitude 143.2922200 (143° 17′ 32″ E)

This is the most popular of the campgrounds because it has a toilet, pre-booking is essential. The birding here is difficult as they are usually high in the trees or skulking deep in the forest, so knowing your calls is very helpful in identifying them. There is a more open area down by the creek and of course the road. The best birding time is just after rain.
