About 5km SW of the locality of Giffard on Giffard Rd, McGuaran Beach Rd heads east, then NE behind the sand dunes. The track is no longer driveable after about 1km, so it’s a pleasant 3km walk behind the dunes or on the beach to the site, which has a copse of trees and an un-named creek outlet.

It’s not possible to get a vehicle into the site to camp
