You can access the site from Ashbourne Rd just to the east of the locality where Birranes Rd heads south or from Boldiston Rd from the east. The site is about half way along the east-west section of the road. The track here is a narrow 4wd track, also known as Wombat East Number 12 Track, that runs through the forest on the east side of the site. The west side of the side is mostly cleared farmland.
Camp rating 6 there is an indistinct track leading south that will get you off the main track, there is no established campsite here.
