Black River Alpine Walking Track Vic

Survey Point Black River Alpine Walking Track Vic
Latitude -37.5388900 (37° 32′ 20″ S)
Longitude 146.4000000 (146° 24′ 0″ E)

Access to this site is from the Jamieson Rd about 24km NW of Licola where N15 or Champion Spur Track heads west, turn right 4km along to stay on N15.  At the bottom of N15 track low range 4WD is necessary, and even then the last 500m or so is treacherous and a potential car breaker. Once at the river it’s an amazing beautiful spot in the dank forest.

Camp rating 10 if you can get here (and I don’t recommend it unless you are properly kitted out) the site is set for bushwalking camping on the Alpine Walking Track, there are no facilities.
