On the Gwydir Hwy 63km east of Collarenebri and 62km west of Moree, Poison gate Rd heads south. The creek is about 1km down. The creek is also known as Mogo watercourse. The site also takes in Tarran Ck which is the southern bridge. There is sparse woodland in the area.
