At the southern end of the beach access is off Gantheaume Point Rd. The beach is popular with beach drivers so the birds are mostly found amongst the rocks. There is also a thin strip of dune habitat, and across the road a horse racing track that can be worth a scan, a track leads around the racetrack through some good remnant scrub.

Camp rating 3 the car park next to the racecourse is sometimes used by campers, there are no facilities here
