On the Tasman Peninsula, Nubeena Rd runs off the Arthur Hwy about 10km north of Port Arthur, Saltwater Rd is about 9km along that, and runs to the park, the Coal Mines Historic Reserve is is about 2km into the park, and the mine shaft is signposted. This is good quality dry forest, the mine shaft is just a big hole in the ground, but its history makes it a sobering place.

No camping is allowed here, Lime Bay CP camp is nearby
