On the corner of the South Western Hwy and Murray St just east of the town a stand of Marri trees is the dominant feature, there are two farm dams and an orchard to further attract a few birds.

Camp rating 1 on the side road there is access to the old road but its close to the busy highway with no facilities, this is not an established campsite.
