This is one of the smaller channels of the creek’s braid and is known as Deadman Ck, it is about 12km east of Windorah. When there’s water in the creek this site can seethe with birds, but it’s often dry, then the woodland along the creek can still support the birds.
No camping is advised here, there is a good campsite about 1.5km further west at the main channel
