Craigieburn Grasslands Vic

Survey Point Craigieburn Grasslands Vic
Latitude -37.6261100 (37° 37′ 34″ S)
Longitude 144.9600000 (144° 57′ 36″ E)

Entry to the grasslands is from the Hume Hwy side of O’Hearn’s Rd, a ford of Merri Ck should only be attempted if the water is not flowing over the causeway. There is a lot of problems with Gorse and other weeds, but it still affords an oasis for the birds on the edge of suburbia. As well as the main Merri Ck, there is Curly Sedge Ck to the east though it dries up in the summertime.

No camping is advised here
