About 18km SW of Cobden on the Warnambool Rd, Brucknell Rd heads south, about 1km along this road a right of way leads down to the Ecklin South Swamp Nature Reserve to the west. The lake often doesn’t have standing water, but the habitat is still good enough to house some birds. The right of way has been planted with trees that are creating some good habitat.
