On the western edge of Derrinallum on the Hamilton Hwy, the Chatsworth Rd heads NW, about 4km along it the lake is on the north side of the road. On the east side of the lake there is a camping ground here with facilities. There’s a small copse of trees here. There is no fee for day visitors
