About 19km east of Humpty Doo on the Arnhem Hwy, Anzac Parade heads NE, the access road intot the dam is about 5km along this to the west and is signposted. This site has to be high on the list of places to go birding in Australia. The wetland is obvious, a walk across the dam wall will produce numerous species. The two walks into the rainforest are also well worth doing, the southern one now has an observation point out in the dam. Astonishingly the cattle have access to all areas here
