On the West Coastal Hwy where the Murchison River crosses north of Northampton, the site is based on the north side. This is a popular camp that can get crowded. There is a good strip of woodland along the river which has permanent water. The ground cover though is badly affected by the campers.

Camp rating 8 there are toilets here on both sides of the river.
