On the Henty Rd north of Strahan a short way past Rayner Rd an unmarked track leads off towards the sea. 4wd is needed. The track is narrow and not well maintained, but if it’s passable it winds through the well vegetated dunes to near the river mouth where the site is based. There are a few tracks in the area that you can access. If this track is not open then there is a track that leads from the picnic area to the south that will get you to the river edge closer to the estuary
