On the NE of the lake, this is a favoured hunting spot for the waterbirds when the weir is flowing, otherwise it’s very open country with the usual ring of trees around the lake. Access is via a small track that leads off the Menindee Rd about 12km NW of Menindee and just west of the inlet channel, it crosses the railway line to end overlooking the end of the channel.

Camp rating 5 best for self contained vehicles short term only, there are no facilities. Access is where the road crosses over the pipe about 1km west.
