On the Great Central Rd about 140km NE of the Cosmo Newbury mine, the cross is on a rocky outcrop with a small track leading to it off the main road. There is good habitat in the area. The waterholes are usually dry.

Camp rating 4 near the road, there is no established campsite here and no facilities.
