About 15km west of Gem Tree and 22km east of the junction with the Sandover Hwy, the site is 100m south of the Plenty Hwy and has a smaller creek coming from the west, both creeks are reasonably well vegetated, but away from the creeks the vegetation is quite sparse.

Camp rating 6 a small track leads south just to the west of the creek, the best spot is about 100m down by the smaller creek that comes in from the west, this area was not accessible in 2023 and we camped on the platform above the creek on the west side which is close to the road and rated 5. There was regular traffic until late.
