On the aptly named Sperm Whale head in The Lakes NP, the site is on Lake Reeve Track about 12km into the park on the corner with No3 Fire Access Track. In excellent woodland it has a nice aspect across the sound to Rotomah Island, there are no facilities here.

No camping is allowed here
