Nicholson River near Kingfisher Camp Qld

Survey Point Nicholson River near Kingfisher Camp Qld
Latitude -17.8808300 (17° 52′ 51″ S)
Longitude 138.3066700 (138° 18′ 24″ E)

About 2km SE of the turn off to the now defunct Kingfisher Camp the site is on the short-cut road between Adels Grove and Hells Gate, there seems to be a disparity over public access along this road. There is a deep river crossing at Lawn Hill Ck at the southern end of the track so it’s best entered from the south.  The river is sandy here so there is less likelihood of water being here. The woodland is generally in good condition.

No camping is advised here as the land owner has become averse to tourists
