Just before the airport to the west of Strahan, Ocean Beach Rd branches off, at the very end of the road it leads down onto the beach, just before it does that there is a small flat spot, 4wd is necessary for the last few hundred meters. There are hundreds of Short-tailed Shearwater nesting in the sand dunes here in the season.
Camp rating 5, there is no camping in the carpark anymore, but if you follow the track down to where people drive onto the beach (GRRR) there is space for one small camper, caravans not advised. 4wd is necessary to go past the car park, it is not an established campsite.
