On the Stuart Hwy about 70km NW of Coober Pedy, there is good woodland along the creek in this middle of three channels, which can hold water for quite a while in spots.
Camp rating 7. A track on the SW side runs down to the creek then west to lead behind a small hillock, thus you are unsighted from the still nearby road, however the railway line is close. There are no facilities.
