About 117km west of Jabiru on the Arnhem Hwy, Stuart Point Rd heads north, about 31km along that Shady Camp Rd heads west, the campsite is at the end of the road by the river. The campsite is rather sparse as far as habitat goes, with a thin strip along the banks of the river. The best habitat is to the south to the crocodile viewing platform, with some grassland species to the north of the campsite. The weir produces some good habitat for the waterbirds
