Survey Point Thornton River Qld
Latitude -19.3319400 (19° 19′ 55″ S)
Longitude 138.9819400 (138° 58′ 55″ E)

Also known as the Seymour River, the site is on the main track from the Camooweal to Gregory Downs and is some 130km NE of camooweal. If there is any water in the course this will be a huge magnet for the birds in the area, of course the best times are at dawn and dusk to find the birds drinking. The entire area around here is good birding. Although I haven’t found them here Gouldian Finches are a possibility.

Camp rating 9 if you have 4wd which is advised on these roads you can get up an embankment on the SE bank, otherwise there is a small loop off the road to the east.
