On the Oxley Way about 35km SE of Walcha, Tia Falls Rd heads north, the free campsite is at the end of the road, where the land falls away into deep ravines. It looks dramatic on a map, the reality is even better with the falls adding sound to the drama. There is good habitat in the ravine of the Tia River and the campground is well wooded too. Great spot.
