On the Coalfields Rd about 35km east of Collie at the locality of Bowelling Varis Rd heads north. About 3km along the dirt road there is a small creek, this is where the site is. There is some remnant woodland along the creek and road most of the rest is pine forest.
No camping advised here, but it is possible if there is access off the road at the pine plantation.
